Soundwave Festival’s fourth season featuring innovative works and captivating performances by local and international artists and musicians exploring the natural world and environmental sustainability. Alan chaired the curatorial committee, artistic directed and oversaw the entire festival that included over 75 artists participating in the summer-long festival and featuring performances inside historic WWII bunkers (in partnership with the National Park Service), churches, and famed sculptures at the de Young Museum, on city streets, parks and plazas and an Illuminated Forest, an artist-imaged environment reactive to human presence exhibited at The Lab gallery. Soundwave was created by Alan So and produced by ME’DI.ATE Art Group.
